Our client contacted us with an initial requirement for packaging design. After several options were presented we were invited to quote for the manufacturing of the project.
The addition of a simple shoulder within the base of the box not only adds additional storage in the base it provides a stage to present the product on once the lid has been removed. The retail packaging solution is then packed into a double-walled corrugated outer to provide additional protection.
The increase in cost of material to make the shoulder is marginal when the added-value of the finished product is seen. Shoulder boxes are generally a luxury retail packaging solution afforded to products with a higher unit value.
Our client was so delighted with the finished packaging we are now working together on reviewing further products in the range.
