Sea Life
We were approached by Merlin Entertainment for gift packaging they could sell online and at each location for SEA LIFE. They have 20M guests each year to the 50 aquariums and 6 sanctuaries. I think it’s safe to say as a child we all have memories of SEA LIFE whether as a family day out or a school trip. The shark and Ray under water tunnel being a particular favourite of mine, even as an adult.
Our client had images of packaging that they wanted to emulate with regard to look and feel. We recommended suitable materials based on the weight and size of the content. We had suggested possibly including a film window in order to see the content but the client wanted the box to appear as more of a gift box than a retail purchase.
All the contents were supplied by the client and they were kind enough to provide this in order for us to make an accurate sample for approval. The artwork and a detailed brief was provided and the artwork was placed onto templates for them to review. The box was made from 500 Micron WBFBB printed in full colour with a Matt Film Lamination.
