For such a high value software solution SMT approached The Packaging Experts to work together on the design, development and manufacturing of a Software Packaging solution which could meet the diverse requirements for the chosen product solution.
We designed a high quality paper over board solution which we refer to as a 4 board case a tray. This is often the chosen packaging solution for premium high value products as the magnetic closure adds a luxurious element to the user experience when opening the packaging. As the product suite could contain up to 3 USB Memory Sticks and 2 CDs we used an internal die-cut foam fitment and then replaced the ‘waste’ so SMT could adapt each box to their specific clients requirements by removing the foam pad and replacing it with a USB Memory Stick.
With the chosen Software Packaging produced at our facility in Basingstoke we were able to offer a very quick turn-around and the client received their order within 2 weeks from sign-off of artwork.
