QT Box
QT Box is a New Start-up Subscription Box who have created a box full of amazingness that helps you harness your time. We all want extra time to do things, well this box aims to give you mindful life hacks to do just that. Featured brands include Tile, Hickies and Swipe.
When QT approached us with a brief the week before Christmas, with a view for a fully delivered solution by mid February. One of the key points from our client was that they were looking for high quality eco-friendly subscription Box similar to Birchbox.
Being a Subscription box it meant the contents change month on month, so the internal dimensions of the packaging had to be sized to allow for a variety of different products going forward.
After discussions via a number of conference calls, we then supplied samples and compiled a final specification. The client had a very clear vision of how they wanted the packaging to look but we offered a variety of alternative options which held other benefits such as being flat-packed, cheaper or quicker to manufacture. We quoted quantities of 500 units up into the thousands to show the economies of scale that could be achieved by ordering in larger quantities. With the artwork provided to our templates and the brief provided we recommended paper over board solution, covered and lined in a standard offset paper. Mutually we agreed it had to be a premium quality to give all subscribers the right impression from the start. We also created a bespoke mailing carton to protect the internal packaging so the customer receives it in perfect condition.
QT had a fixed launch date ( March 2019) and the biggest challenge was the lead-time, that said we worked swiftly and the packaging solution was brought to life like you see here. You can get your very own at www.qtbox.co.uk.
