Tech Data UK&I Corporate Hampers
TechData approached us as they wanted to send a gift to all employees to thank them for their commitment in 2020 and wish them a Merry Christmas. With the whole of the UK in lockdown with the COVID-19 pandemic, offices were closed and everyone working from home, it meant the UK Christmas party was cancelled. TechData wanted to surprise staff and leave a lasting impression.
Having collaborated with them in the past with a successful virtual event, they reached out to THEMPC to discuss proposals for a bespoke corporate hamper.
Once the brief was received and objectives discussed our team got to work looking for the contents for this superior corporate hamper. It was important to TechData that we catered for any dietary requirements, with this in mind we sourced a vegan gingerbread snowflake, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and games.
Getting creative with crackers
We designed and created the bespoke packaging based on TechData’s brief, which incorporated their branding on the box with a festive feel including an idea of ours with a bespoke cracker box designed to hold 3 packs of Pringles snacks.
We created a full colour mock-up sample in-house so that TechData could visualise the hamper before signing it off, we ordered in all the content and made a mock-up box, printed with their branding. This meant that they knew exactly what we would be receiving.
TechData was looking for a premium hamper with the WOW factor, with this we included finishes of matt lamination and spot UV to the outside of the box.
How did it go?
Our team ordered in over 16,000 items to go inside the boxes and all hampers were made up, (including applying 9,500 strips of tape to the boxes!) ready for direct shipment to each employee’s home address in under 4 weeks. TechData utilised all our services where we were able to take on the project from brief to fulfilment. The TechData team loved it and posted it over social media channels under #OurTechDataChristmas with great feedback.
