Newlyns Branded Food Hamper
We were approached by family run business, Newlyns who are a farm shop, cookery school and cafe. They were looking for a packaging solution for a branded food hamper. Newlyns required a quick turn around of three weeks for 500 units to ensure they so they could get their branded food hamper out to their Christmas shoppers.
Like many customers they had an idea of what they wanted it to look like, they supplied an image and then we then created a corrugated box with a PVC window so customers can see the items inside the branded food hamper.
They mentioned they wanted to work with us as we’re a local business which we loved! At the time of enquiry they had no artwork designs so after an initial brief our designer sourced some images that would work on their packaging along with their logo and the designs were presented for approval.
We advised on resolution of artworks used, suggested the size of the window in order to fit artwork around the border. This was to allow for the tolerance in the movement that can occur in this process with flexo print. On this occasion we used just one colour print.
This project commenced just as the national corrugated board shortage hit the industry, however we managed to push through and fulfil the client requirements in time for the Christmas season.
