Happy Hands
We were approached by marketing company Noisy who were launching a personal care product on behalf of their client “Happy Hands”. Noisy needed our help to develop retail packaging design for a new hand sanitiser. Their client was looking to present to market a product which provided the anti-bacterial protection of other products but which was also kind to hands. I am sure you’ll agree our hands have not felt their best after the last year so here’s a virtual high-five to that! They had two designs and required 2000 units of each design in 3 weeks from approval. We have worked with Noisy before so it was a pleasure to help them with a new project.
We requested samples of the product so we could provide an unprinted sample box that was just right for the weight and design of the 500ml pump bottle hand sanitiser. Once approval was received we issued the artwork template to their designer. Our designer aided with the set-up of the artwork to explain how each of the different finishes they wanted needed to be set as separate layers and set to overprint in the supplied file. The cartons were printed inside and outside on 500 Micron WBFBB printed 4/4 plus Matt Film Lamination, with additional features of Spot UV and Embossing.
As you will see from the designs with a product name like Happy Hands, the packaging was never going to be dull. Importance of retail packaging design is to capture the eye and to inform and that it does.
