Small Business owners came to us as they wanted to produce a range of promotional packaging for various items under their brand of Kevs Kampers. They offer a wedding hire service for their VW camper vans and wanted to expand their offering.
The client presented us with the products which were alcoholic hand gels, lanterns and sterilising units. Due to the various sizes of these items and small quantities to begin with, we suggested the option of creating the promotional packaging from generic printing sheets with a wallpaper affect logo pattern. This meant the boxes can be digitally cut on an on demand basis meaning flexibility in manufacturing options and zero packaging obsolescence. This is not only great for the environment but it will undoubtedly save the client both time and money.
This option seemed the best fit for the client based on the continually growing product list they had and the need for suitable promotional packaging at sensible prices.
They were very happy with how this works and it meant they could launch new products to market within hours rather than weeks.
The client supplied the artwork they wanted inside the boxes with the wallpaper logo effect that can be used across their whole range.
We suggested they used this rather than using the clients 2 colour logo (due to potential registration issues with flexo printing) that they should use the dominant dark green colour and then a 50% tint of the same colour.
